Asir, the outstandingly beautiful region in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is situated in the southwest of the Arabian Peninsula. It is truly a land of breathing vistas, valleys, rolling pastures, flocks of sheep and shepherds right out of history. It is a deep green land of magnificent juniper forests and a terraced  cultivation on the steep mountainsides. Here, you can experience icy winds and thick fog, cool and gentle breeze and azure-blue skies, fragrance and myrrh. It is an ancient land with a rich and vibrant cultural heritage and an amazing array of traditional handcrafts of unique and rare artistry. It is as enchanting as the swirling mist, now revealing, now concealing something beautiful.
Mountain Al Souda at 3000 meters above sea level, is the highest peak in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. On the juniper covered mountain you can almost touch the clouds, enjoy panoramic views of the slopes and deep valley.
